Dinner reservations are already full up, but you’re welcome to join the festivities food and drink will be available. Live music and a costume contest are on the schedule. Walnut Creek Yacht Club: All day Tuesday the WCYC will serve a three-course Mardi Gras menu featuring jambalaya with prawns, Andouille sausage and chicken French Quarter salad with blackened, bourbon-glazed bacon and bananas foster bread pudding. Besides specials, the full menu will be available at lunch and dinner. Santa Cruz Ave., Los Gatos Angeline’s Louisiana Kitchen: Fried alligator, king cake and Hurricanes top the specialty menu at this Berkeley restaurant, which will be celebrating Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. And here’s the lagniappe (little extra): The menu will be half off after 9:30 p.m. Two bars will be pouring Hurricanes, Sazeracs and Daiquiris. The Bywater: In Los Gatos, David Kinch’s NOLA-themed restaurant, with Dave Morgan of Louisiana at the helm, will kick up its Cajun and Creole menu of gumbo, oysters and po’boys by adding an all-day crawfish boil, muffalettas, cochon au lait and king cake.
