![]() ![]() We are both at the ends of the scale - like almost as far as you can go in both ways if that makes sense. Some of the most exciting, fun, courageous and friendly people I know are introverts! :)įully agree with you! Perfect example: my brother is an introvert and I'm on the other end being your typical extrovert. People love chatting to him and are always surprised when he tells them he is an introvert as they have this idea in their head of what an introvert is. People think that introverts are quiet and socially awkward, not true at all! He is the most introverted person I know yet he is also the most funny and charming and kind human in the world, he will happily crack a joke to a crowd. ![]() That's the difference between introvert and extrovert. Perfect example: my brother is an introvert and I'm on the other end being your typical extrovert. So, wouldn't these all be better off as memes about social anxiety? I have also had depression in the past and can relate to posts that seem to be about that. I also have social anxiety, and I related to a lot of these because because of that. Like I mentioned above, I am an extravert, but I also don't like being the center of attention. I feels that a lot of these memes and other introvert posts they are describing more mental health issues like social anxiety, general anxiety, and depression. They enjoy spending time with just one or two people, rather than large groups or crowds. The definition of interverts that psychology uses is :An introvert is a person with qualities of a personality type known as introversion, which means that they feel more comfortable focusing on their inner thoughts and ideas, rather than what's happening externally. I have always thought of being an introvert as being more reserved and prefer being with themselves or a small group. ![]() As an extrovert that suffers from social anxiety, iI am genuinely curious and want to educate myself more on this topic. Please do not get mad or down votes as I am not trying to be mean or rude. Upvotes Follow Unfollow 3 weeks ago (edited) Created by potrace 1.15, written by Peter Selinger 2001-2017 ![]()
